Recorded far from bustling touristic areas, this collection presents Ugandan life in towns & villages and the ambience of schools, markets, hospitals and police stations. If you listen closely, you’ll also recognize the sounds of songbirds and monkeys!
This collection features sounds recorded in 2001 in Kampala and Masindi Forest, and in 2006 further north of the country in the IDP camps near the villages of Lira and Gulu.
